Harvesso irrigation machine is specially designed to provide energy efficiency. It can be called traveling rain gun. Because of its water turbine and steel rope, the machine irrigates land by dragging itself. Usage ground of the machine is not limited with only agricultural fields; it can also be utilized in sports grounds, lawn irrigation, meadow irrigation and range improvement. As instead of hard hose of the drum irrigation machines, this machine has soft hose, it has small dimensions. As a result, machine pulls the special hose, which equals to 25% of its own weight, instead of dragging tons of pipes. More weight to pull by machine can influence its service life. Moreover, the machine’s handling and storage costs are low. Delivery of water at 30m3/hour at 7 bar (pumping) requires 5-hp less energy than delivery of the same water at 8 bar (pumping), which means saving about 1.5-liter diesel. Different kinds of the machine are available based on maximum irrigation length: 100 m – 130 m – 200 m -300 m and 400m. Moreover, there are petrol and diesel types. Water requirements for this machine is minimum 12m3/hour, maximum 30m3/hour at 4 bar. Maximum travelling distance is 200 meters, maximum irrigation depth is 60 meters. Machine’s effective irrigation distance reaches up to 350 meters, when it rotates fully once. It can be used to irrigate any kind of agricultural fields, but mostly preferred by meadows and pasture alfalfa fields.
