Even though this type of clips is sometimes called tomato arch support clips, growers can benefit from flexible arch in many plants such as cucumbers, peppers and other fruits and vegetable plants, which have the same stem and cluster characteristics with mentioned plants.
Some weeks after plantation, initial trusses start to grow in greenhouse plants. These trusses are very weak and hence they usually break from stem. In order to have high quality and quantity of yields, flextruss are used in such trusses. Flexible cluster support should be installed to trusses in the beginning of flowering stage. This installation will result with stronger trusses and healthy plant clusters, which do not break from stem at the last stage of growth, when the weight of yields is too heavy for plant stem to hold.
In order to install, flexible arch cluster support is simply snapped to plant trusses with flowers, and softly close around branches of plant. Average 5-15 truss arches are used per plant, and this number changes according to type of plants and growing method. Different colors of flex arch can be used in plant, but mainly black color is preferred as it is easier to identify black color arch.
